Greetings!  My name is Ben, and Danielle, my wife of 6 years, is next to me in this picture.  I was born and raised in Dayton, OH while Danielle was raised in Columbus, OH.  Following graduation from Cedarville University, the two of us moved to Pittsburgh for ministry in 2002, less than a month after we were married (July 20).

I am the Lead Pastor and in addition to preaching, I lead worship for Focus.  It is my desire to reach out to our community with the love God has for each of us, and also to share the forgiveness and free gift of Heaven we have through Jesus. Danielle completed her Psy.D. in clinical psychology in August 2008 so she is now a DOCTOR!!

Focus Community Church is going to be different than any other church you've seen.  Instead of being a church based on Biblical principles, we are a church based solely on the Bible.  This kind of church is certainly going to look different.  And feel different.  And sound different.  And God's Word (the Bible) will be the FOCUS of all that we do.

Once Jesus' Gospel is preached in Cranberry and Mars, we'll plant this message in Gibsonia, Middlesex, and Zelienople.  When the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh have received God's Word, we'll take His message to the four corners of Pittsburgh.  Our mission: to reach all of Western Pennsylvania with the saving gospel of Christ and the free gift of eternal life through Him.  All the while, we will be working alongside of, and becoming, missionaries to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.  Once God's redemptive plan has spread to the four corners of the world, the Bible says in Matthew 24:14 that Jesus will then come back to earth for His Church!
